Nigeria’s Alex Adewale was a shining star at the wheelchair tennis event of the ongoing National Sports Festival, after winning gold medal in the disabled sport for Team Edo, Nigerian Tennis Live can authoritatively report.
The hardworking Nigerian tennis superstar who recently won back-to-back ITF Futures in Nigeria and Ghana, made sure he capped an amazing year of a return to full fledge competitive tennis action with a national medal in his kitty.

The man fondly referred to as Osama won gold medals in the Single and Mixed Doubles events and was all smiles as he was presented with his medals.
Another top player, Tosin Dawodu, representing Lagos State was another wheelchair tennis player who made it to the medals’ log as she won bronze in the Women’s Singles and Silver in the Mixed Doubles event.
These wins represent a big leap for the players who had been clamoring for the addition of the disabled sport to the National Sports Festival, a development which they will always be grateful to the Nigeria Tennis Federation (NTF) and its leadership for.
