The International Tennis Federation (ITF) has set 9 September as the deadline date for the registration of coaches who want to participate in the upcoming Worldwide Coaches Conference holding in Thailand.
According to information made obtained on their website by Nigeria Tennis Live, the conference will hold on from Friday 25 October to Sunday 27, October at the Berkeley Hotel, 559 Ratchaprarop Road, Makkasan, Ratchathewi, Bangkok 10400, Thailand.
The worldwide conference which will attract tennis coaches from all over the world will also have top Nigerian tennis coaches in attendance as they exploit the latest tricks in tennis together during the three-day event.
Nigeria’s Rotimi Akinloye tops the list of Nigerian coaches expected to attend this event which will have discussions on the theme: ‘Maximising the player’s journey: the coach as facilitator and team leader’.
Mary Pierce, Emilio Sanchez and Mark Woodforde who have all won grand slams at different times in their careers are scheduled to give keynote presentations during this conference.
