Following her impressive performance at the NNPC/ SNEPCo Junior Championship, which ended recently in Lagos, Angel McCloud will be attending another ITF Junior Circuit in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, UAE.
McCloud, 11, who won two  titles during the junior championship, is expected to travel out of the country on Friday for the week-long tournament after the ATP points she raked in at the Junior ITF Circuit held in Togo and Benin Republic makes her eligible to enter for the event.
This much was disclosed to Naija Tennis Special by Kayode Savage, a tennis coach, who hopes to travel alongside the youngster to Dubai for the tourney.
Savage stated that, “I hope to travel with McCloud to Dubai for an ITF Junior Circuit this Friday. She amassed some ATP points at the tournament in Togo and Benin Republic.
Our correspondent gathered that the half American junior rookie is being sponsored by her Nigerian mother to attend the ITF event as a way of encouraging her daughter to further hone her skills in the sport.
“As a matter of fact, I am yet to get my ticket for the trip because I do not have enough funds to embark on the trip. However, I am optimistic that all things being equal, I shall attend the circuit”.
