Emmanuel Jebutu was in rampaging form during his first round match against Mozambique’s Jaime Sigauque at the ongoing Mozambique International Junior Championship in Maputo.
The Nigerian number eight seed thrashed the home boy in two straight sets. He won 6-3, 6-4 in an entertaining encounter.
Jebutu who was in blistering form at the Lagos Open qualifying series and has taken the same form to the Junior ITF Circuit with the amazing result recorded in the first round already.
He shall be taking up Lucas Alexander Lai Fat Fur from Mauritius in their second round match, and will hope to qualify for the quarterfinal to boost his ranking points on the Circuit.
