The qualifying rounds for the Rainoil Open Tennis Championship is presently gathering serious dust Nigeria Tennis Live can report.

According to information made available to our correspondent, the players are slugging things out inside the tennis section of the Lagos Country Club, Onikan, where the action is presently taking place.

The number of the male tennis players gunning for the second round of the series has almost been halfed already, while the women qualifying round is still in progress.

Junior tennis player, Wilson Igbinovia, is yet to know his fate while other players have zoomed into the next level.

The legendary Omotayo Osewa is also among the players trying to make a main draw entrance as she battles Igwe Oluchi in one of the late matches on court 6.

She will be hoping to find her way through the rigors of the prelim stage to stake a claim for the elusive main draw berth.

Nigeria Tennis Live will keep monitoring the proceedings from the qualifying series and share all the exciting updates from the competition with our followers.
