Lagos Country Club Members Donate 18 Rackets, Shoes, Kits To Ball Boys
As part of activities marking the end of the year festivities at the tennis section of the Lagos Country Club, their members have donated tennis items to the ball boys at the section.
Recall that there was a year-end competition for ball boys and ball hitters at the club which was won by Muhammed Abdulia and Daniel Adeleye respectively.
The winner of the ball boys’ event was rewarded with N40,000 cash prize while the ball hitters’ tournament winner went home with N100,000.

However, the members of the tennis section at the Lagos Country Club still rallied round to donate items for the ball boys and the ball hitters who have made their activities on the courts a lot less stressful.
The captain of the tennis section, while listing the items, also informed that some of their members who were in diaspora made some donations.

The items donated to the youngsters and hitters include: 18 rackets for junior and senior players, 17 polo and other tennis shirts, 15 pairs of socks, 12 pairs of tennis shoes, 4 headbands, racket bag, among other items.
The donations were listed during the finale of the Top 16 tournament of the tennis section of the Lagos Country Club which returned Femi Adeyemi as the number one player at the section.
Also, for the first time, 16 Mixed Doubles players participated in a year-end event which was won by the pair of Nimota Omope and Deji Osikoya.
