JUST IN! Nigeria To Face Rwanda In First Davis Cup Match As Benin Tackles Cameroon

Team Nigeria to the ongoing Davis Cup tennis championship in Kenya will begin their quest for promotion when they take on their opponents from Rwanda in the first round of matches for the Nigerian side.

Benin, the other top ranked team in the Pool A will take on Cameroon as all four teams will be looking for straight wins to come out tops in the group.

Joseph Imeh will be one of Nigeria’s key players going into tomorrow’s game.

According to the draws confirmed by Nigerian Tennis Live, Nigeria’s quartet of Abdulmumin Babalola (captain), Sylvester Emmanuel, Christian Paul and Joseph Imeh, will file out against Rwanda’s Havugimana Olivier (captain), Habiyambere Ernest, Gatete Hamissi and Niyigena Etienne.

In other matches decided today, Kenya and Namibia already recorded impressive 3-0 wins over Uganda and Algeria respectively, and the Nigerian team will be looking forward to ensuring that we also follow suit.
