Oyinlomo Quadre’s fairy tale run at the ongoing Junior ITF Circuit in Tunisia came to and end after a strong performance against her Swiss opponent, Alina Granwehr, resulted in an outright loss for her.

After crushing her initial opponents from Tunisia and France to advance from the qualifying stage of the Grade 2 Junior ITF tournament, it became quite horrendous a task for the youngster to move beyond the main draw of the tough tournament.

Quadre, who still maintains her place among the elite junior tennis players of the world, will hope to put in more efforts to ensure her participation in subsequent top junior competitions.

Nigeria Tennis Live will keep monitoring her progress at the ITF High Performance Centre in Morocco, where she is presently developing her tennis and academics.
