Junior ITF Circuit: I Am Better Prepared For The Next Tournament – Oyinlomo

Nigeria’s Oyinlomo Quadre says she has bounced back from the disappointing defeat of last week’s Junior ITF Circuit in Casablanca, Morocco, and is ready for this week’s challenge.

The youngster, now ranked 319 in the world, had cruised past her French opponent in two straight sets in the first round of the Grade 3 Championship, but fell shot when she played against a sterner opposition.

She has been off and on in recent weeks too, losing out matches which she would have naturally won, but the ACES Tennis Academy offshoot is not relenting.

In an exclusive chat with Nigeria Tennis Live, she revealed that the disappointment of the previous weeks is already behind her as she focuses on the new challenge ahead of her.

“I am better prepared for this new week’s tournament,” Quadre, who is presently at the High Performance Centre in Morocco, offered.

“I just have to go for it tomorrow and hope for the best,” she added.

Quadre is one of the players participating in the Racquette D’or Grade 3 ITF Junior Circuit in Mohammedia, Morocco, and her first match is against Celia Belle Mohr, another French player ranked 530 in the world.

Nigeria Tennis Live will keep monitoring her performance at the international tournament which has world’s number 95 ranked player in attendance.
