Nigeria’s Abayomi Oluseyi Phillips who has been on a roller-coaster ride at the ongoing Junior ITF Circuit in Lome, Togo, is set to turn heads with yet another amazing performance.

The youngster who’s responsible for the exit of the tournament’s number one and three seeds, will come up against Togo’s Charles Kodjo, the tournament’s number two seed, for his second consecutive ITF Junior Circuit win.

Phillips, presently ranked 939 in the world, has been the tournament’s most prolific player since the competition kicked off, and has put Nigeria’s name on the map for the very best reasons.

And with his consistent sterling performance, the Nigerian, 17, is almost sure to defeat the Togolese to cap off a second consecutive week of ITF competition which started from Ghana last week.

He is also already a top seed for the second week of the competition in Togo.

Nigeria Tennis Live gathered that he is seeded 11 for the Junior Grade 4 competition which serves off on Monday, 9 September.
