The Davis Cup player who reached the Doubles final alongside Seun Ogunsakin at the J100 Harare event last week is seeking to go one better in the Singles event.
The Nigerian pair reached the quarterfinals of the first leg of the J100 Harare event after some eventful performances on the courts.

But while Adeleye reached the quarterfinals of the second leg in Zimbabwe, his Nigerian counterpart could not manage a win against opponent, as he fell short in the third round.
The J60 Abuja winner will have to be at his best in the quarterfinal match against India’s Rethin Pranav Senthil Kumar, to stand a chance to reach the semis of the point-spinning event.
A win for the Ekiti boy against the competition’s number one seed will go a long way in increasing his rankings which is gradually growing towards top 200 in the world.

Despite a huge fight, the Nigerian pair of Ogunsakin and Daniel lost the Doubles Quarterfinal to the pair of Taisei Hata from Japan and China’s Jintao Lan. The match ended (4)6-7, (3)6-7.
