ITF U-18 Junior Circuit: Oyinlomo Partners Egyptian Nemesis In Doubles Final

Even though their meeting at the ongoing ITF U-18 Junior Circuit in Togo has not been a very productive one for her, Nigeria’s Oyinlomo Quadri will still partner her Egyptian Nemesis, Yasmin Ezzat to slug it out in the Girls Doubles final, Nigerian Tennis Live can reliably report.

This tennis blog had reported earlier that the Nigerian player defeated the Egyptian top seed to clinch the Girls Singles title in the first leg played in Ghana, but could not sustain the momentum when the pair met in Togo for the second leg of the ITF circuit.

Oyinlomo lost the tie in two straight sets, and was devastated by the loss, but vowed to bounce back stronger in the next leg of the tournament.

Nigeria’s Oyinlomo will strive to win the Girls Doubles title with Ezzat.

The Nigerian, is however, partnering with the Egyptian who is the number seven seed in the Singles event to play against the number one pairing in the team event; Carmine Becoude and Divine Nweke – who appears to be of Nigerian descent.

If she wins the Doubles event with Ezzat, Oyinlomo will boost her ranking points in the team event and move closer to the top ranking she had before she lost form a few years ago.

Nigerian Tennis Live will keep tabs on the match which will take place later today and report to our teeming audience as the result trickles in.
