Oyinlomo Quadre may have shot herself into the top 200 junior players in the world for the very first time after securing a second round victory over Algerian player, Ines Bekrar, at the ongoing 13ème Tournoi International Juniors de Tlemcen ITF Grade 2 competition in Algeria.

After this win, the world’s number 202 Nigerian starlet will now have to scale the hurdle further to prove her mettle on clay court and in the Grade 2 competition which awards more points than the Grade 3 which she recently won.

To qualify for the semi final of the tournament, Quadre has to fight really hard against the unseeded Yasmine Kabbaj from Morocco who defeated Italy’s Matilde Mariani, the tournament’s number three seed.

Nigeria Tennis Live will keep monitoring her performance in Algeria as she hopes to keep raking up the points in her bid to end the tennis season on a high.
