Roseline Nana has been listed among the best U-12 tennis talents in Quebec, Canada after impressing coaches during a selection camping event.
The youngster who left Nigeria a little over a year ago has been impeccable since she arrived Canada to continue her tennis development.
And during a recent camping to select some of the best U-10 & U-12 players, the 10-year-old was picked alongside 17 others to resume training with Quebec’s U-12 team.

For context, Quebec is a province in Canada which is 67% bigger than the whole of Nigeria, and for the Nigerian wonderkid to have been selected among those youngsters means she is doing something really fantastic.
Nana’s dad who shared the bit of news with Nigeria Tennis Live stated: “Rose was invited to try out to be part of the Team Quebec 12 years olds and she was selected.
“Because she is one of two who are the youngest, it is expected that she would be with the team for 2 years, which is 2025 and 2026 when she will still be 12”.

“On September 21 and 22, the IGA Stadium in Montreal hosted the selection camps for the Quebec U10 and U12 teams, a major annual event to identify young Quebec tennis talents.
“Supervised by a team of coaches, the young athletes were subjected to a series of physical and technical tests in the hopes of securing a spot among the province’s future hopefuls,” Tennis Quebec was quoted to have written on their website concerning the selection camp before listing Nana alongside others.
It added: “At the end of this weekend full of emotions and efforts, the athletes who distinguished themselves will have the opportunity to proudly represent Quebec in upcoming competitions. Here are the names of the qualifiers”.
