Imeh Defeats Madueke, Wins First CBN Open Title

Joseph Imeh, Nigeria’s number two male tennis player has finally won the elusive Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Open tournament.

The former national champion who has been outstanding all week, put up a stiff resistance to knock out Nomso Madueke in a two-set game.

Imeh, tipped to win the competition, lived up to his pre-event billing, and ensured he did not leave any stone unturned, defeating the Port Harcourt based player 6-3, 3-1.
