Nigerian Tennis Live has obtained an exclusive voice note of young tennis sensation, Oyinlomo Quadri, speaking after her hard fought win over Egypt’s Yassin Ezzmat in the Girls Singles Final at the ITF Junior Circuit in Ghana.
Quadri beat the Egyptian number five seed in three sets of 4-6, 6-1, 6-2 to emerge as the winner of the first leg of the ITF World Junior Circuit, but it was not all rosy for the young Nigerian player.
    I just thought of fighting…
After the match she explained her ordeal via a voice note, narrating how she came out fighting on the day even though she never thought she stood any chance of winning the duel anymore.
“The match was tough,” she said. “I was exhausted in the final set. I was actually 2-0 down before I won 6-2.”
“I was leading 2-0 in the first set but she beat me 6-4. The main thing was she was in control of the match,” she added, adding “I didn’t know if I could win anymore, I just thought of fighting.”
