Fire For Fire In Lagos As Sylvester Ambushes Imeh For First Rainoil Tennis Open Title

Sylvester Emmanuel and Joseph Imeh will cast their friendship aside when they battle each other for the coveted Rainoil Tennis Open Championship Title on Sunday.

The pair who have been the most consistent Nigerian players in the last two-three years and have won all the national titles between them, will be at loggerheads again when they take to the court for the men’s singles title.

Imeh, the defending champion of the competition and a third time finalist, is seeking his second consecutive national title having recently clinched the Dala Hard Court title in Kano.

He faces stiff competition from Sylvester, the man who’s popularly addressed as Major, for his second Rainoil title in as many years.

Major who has never reached the final of the competition is also gunning for his second national title in 2019 having already won the CBN Open Championship in Abuja early in the year.

With the pre match statistics showing that both players will be desperate to win the title but it will not be an easy task for either of both stars.

Nigeria Tennis Live promises to bring all the updates from the final of the tournament which reaches its climax on Sunday, 8 December.
