Nigeria’s teenage tennis superstar, Oyinlomo Quadre, is now ranked 301, placing her among the elite tennis players in the world according to the December ranking released by the ITF for junior players.

Fact check by Nigeria Tennis Live revealed that the youngster who has been getting so many reviews across the globe for her scintillating performances, got some impressive results in some junior ITF competitions she played in Morocco where she’s presently continuing with her tennis development.

Quadre became the cynosure of all eyes when in 2017, she jumped to being among the top 400 in the world from zero ranking points after cruising to unprecedented successes in junior ITF tournaments.

Ever since then, she has risen in stock and now stands tall among the elite junior tennis players, even though she has played much fewer tournaments than her counterparts from other countries.

Due to her superb displays and ranking points, the young tennis prodigy has been exempted from the AJC qualifiers holding in Togo from 8- 16 January, as she will play in the Main Draw of the Singles event directly.

In a recent chat with Nigeria Tennis Live, Quadre believes she can surpass the achievements of Serena Williams if she continues with her consistent performances on the court.

“It may sound crazy, but that’s my dream,” the ever confident Quadre had said.

Nigeria Tennis Live will keep monitoring her progress and report latest developments as she continues with her education and tennis development in Morocco.
