Naija Tennis Special has obtained exclusive pictures of the Nigerian players in a training session ahead of the Fed Cup in Tunisia.

MaryLove Edwards, Oyinlomo Quadri and Rebecca Ekpenyong are the Nigerian starlets in the North African country under the watchful eyes of Coach Abel Ubiebi for the tournament.

And since their arrival in the North African region, the players have been training really hard ahead of the tournament as revealed by the coach in a chat with our correspondent from Tunisia, where the championship is expected to kick off on Wednesday.

The players, according to the coach, are presently in high spirits as they seek to consolidate on their sterling performances in recent years and make the country proud far away from home.

“When we landed, Quadri was already in Tunisia and as we are having this conversation, they are all in high spirits.

“Training is going on very well and the girls are raring to go. With God on our side and all other things being equal, we shall return victorious,” the ever-smiling Coach Abel said.

The girls share a smile after their training session on Tuesday.

Naija Tennis Special will bring you up to speed with the events in Tunisia as they unfold and as Nigeria progresses in the competition.
