National junior tennis, Mohammed Ubale, has gotten an ITF educational grant to attend the 20th ITF  Worldwide Coaches Conference in Sofia, Bulgaria.

The experienced coach who has tutored many Nigerian players to impressive wins across the world, shared this piece of news with Nigerian Tennis Live on Sunday night when he was on his way to the European country aboard Turkish Airline for the event that will take place from 10-15 October, 2017.

Coach Ubale at the airport in Lagos before boarding the Turkish Airline flight to the European country.

He noted that it was a great privilege to be given such grant to attend the gathering of other coaches from many of other parts of the world, where ideas on the latest additions to tennis will be shared among the tutors.

According to him: “I think two or three other Nigerian coaches will be attending the conference, but I am the only one who got the educational grant to attend and I am grateful to the ITF for this privilege.

Nigerian Tennis Live gathered that over 500 coaches from other parts of the world will be in Bulgaria for the conference which is in its 20th year.

Coach Ubale is expected back to the country on Monday, 16 October, 2017.
