EXCLUSIVE: Check Out The Final List Of Team Nigeria To 2017 Davis Cup

Naija Tennis Special has exclusively obtained the final list of Nigerian players to the 2017 edition of the Davis Cup World Team Cup.
A few weeks ago, it was gathered that Joseph Imeh will be joining the team to the team tournament for the very first fine after a string of impressive performances in recent times.
The former junior star will be joined by Nigeria’s number one player, Sylvester Emmanuel, Clifford Enosoregbe and Abdulmumumi Babalola who is the defending champion of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Senior Tennis Open.
Joseph Imeh is in line to make his first-ever Davis Cup appearance in July 2017.
According to Coach Benson Ishicheli, one of the national coaches, the players will be camping any moment from now since the team tournament is expected to start on 17 July, 2017.
“Sylvester will join us from Spain where he will be training hard ahead of the tournament while the other players will be in camp before we depart the country.

“At the moment, I can assure you that these players selected are in top form for the country. They are fresh from tournaments within and outside the country so they are in good shape. But we can only try to ascertain their level of readiness going into the tournament.

“We shall give you an update on the events in the build-up to the tournament as we approach the departure date, but like I said, these players are in great shape at the moment,” Coach Benson told Naija Tennis Special.

Naija Tennis Special shall be on ground to give you a build-up to the tournament as the days draw near.
