Dala Championship: Imeh, Moses, Sylvester Land In Semis

Nigeria’s trio of Joseph Imeh, Sylvester Emmanuel and Moses Michael have landed in the semi finals of the Dala Hard court tennis championship, Naija Tennis Special has gathered.

Imeh, a player from Aces Tennis Academy in Lagos, will square up against Abuja-based Moses while US-based youngster, Emmanuel will tackle the winner of the match between Sunday Emmanuel and John Otu.

Reports say Otu and Emmanuel were at 2-2 in the final set before the match was postponed to Friday morning and until the tie is decided, the second semi-final pairing may not be possible.

The curtain will be drawn on the Dala Hard Court Tennis Championship on Saturday, November 26, and the players will return to the NCC League before all attention will be shifted to the Ikoyi Club Tennis Masters, which often holds in December, to wrap up tennis activities in the year.

Naija Tennis Special will be live at the venue of the tournament and will bring match time reports after each tie has been completed.
