Clash Of The Titans: Babalola, Atseye In Quarterfinal Showdown At Rainoil Tennis Open
Defending Champion of the ongoing Rainoil Open Tennis Championship, Henry Atseye, will have a major title defense challenge when he takes on ageless Abdulmumin Babalola in one of the quarterfinal matches of the competition.
Atseye who defeated youngster Michael Michael to reach the quarterfinal of the competition will hope to rediscover his best form on the court when he takes on the legendary Nigerian tennis superstar.

Nigerian Tennis Live checks revealed that to qualify for the quarterfinal, Babalola made sure that fellow Davis Cup player, Christian Paul fell in two straight sets of 6-1, 6-3, as the tournament gets to the business end.
In other matches scheduled to hold on Thursday, 15 November, Nigeria’s number one, Joseph Imeh takes on another budding star, Emmanuel Idoko; while the nation’s number two player, Sylvester Emmanuel will take on Iloputa Ikechukwu.
Albert Bikom takes on Uche Oparaoji in the other quarterfinal match to be decided on Thursday.
All the first matches are billed to start by 9:30 inside the tennis section of the Ikoyi Club 1938, where the tournament is presently being hosted.
