BREAKING: Wheelchair Tennis Players Depart Nigeria For Kenya

Nigeria Tennis Live can reliably report that the national wheelchair tennis players have departed the shores of the country for Kenya.

Our correspondent had reported that the players had commenced training ahead of the Nairobi Open which will hold from 11 -13 February.

The Nigerian Wheelchair Tennis players participated in an ITF Futures in Abuja recently.

The players who recently participated in the inaugural Puma Wheelchair Tennis tournament in Abuja, Nigeria’s federal capital territory, were also in Ghana to play and win another competition.

Alex Adewale, Wasiu Yusuf, Wasiu, Kayode Akanbi, Veshima Mende, Kafaya Omisore and Chituru are the players who are participating in the competition.

Coach Frank Termena, the National Wheelchair Tennis coach, is reported to have led the players to the East African country, where the tournament starts next week.
