BREAKING: Unbeatable Quadre Crushes French Player To Win J3 Title In Pretoria

Oyinlomo Quadre has won her second her ever Grade 3 Junior ITF Title in Pretoria, South Africa, Nigeria Tennis Live has learnt.

The youngster defeated her French opponent, Nahia Berecoechea in two rapid sets of 6-2, 6-3 to claim the title for the second time in her career.

This win also ensured that the Nigerian number one female tennis player landed her first piece of silverware in the new decade.

She wasn’t as lucky in the Doubles event, however, as the match ended in favour of her Moroccan opponents in a match where the Nigerian was the only non-Moroccan.

Quadre and Salma Loudili lost the team event against Sara Akid and Yasmine Kabbaj via a keenly contested tie break.

The match ended 7-6, 1-6, 12-10 in favour of the Moroccan number one seeds.

But the indisputable Nigerian champion had done enough to make her mark in the Singles, where she was no match for all her opponents.

Nigeria Tennis Live will ensure that our followers get the pictures from the presentation which should be any moment from now.
