BREAKING: Ogunshakin Drops A Set, But Rallies To Secure Nigeria’s First Win Against Ghana

Nigeria’s chances of qualifying for the African Junior Tennis Championship in Morocco received a massive boost on Saturday afternoon when Seun Ogunshakin, gathered momentum to hand Nigeria a hard fought victory over Ghana.

His match which was the first of the day, happened to be the first where he dropped a set in the singles event. However, he did not allow it affect his overall performance, as he rallied to convincingly defeat the Ghanaian.

According to information obtained by Nigeria Tennis Live, the Ekiti-state born player ended up with a 7-5, 4-6, 6-3 defeat of his Ghanaian opponent, as Nigeria continues in her quest for qualification for the AJC.

Ogunshakin has been the shining light of Nigeria’s campaign at the event as he has won all of his matches, even though sometimes, he had to do a comeback in one of them.
