Nigeria, ranked 93rd in the world, are only bested in the tournament by South Africa (85) and Tunisia (89), and are deservedly the third seed of the competition, hence the draw having them in Group C.

According to the order of play obtained by Nigeria Tennis Live, Nigeria will be playing the first match on court 6 against the Ugandan ladies at about 10.00am (8am Nigerian time).

As at the time of filing this report, it was not certain yet, which player will be starting, however, feelers from Kenya have it that Quadre and Nweke may be in contention to play the two Singles matches.
