Christopher Bulus will be one of the happiest Nigerian tennis players at the moment after defeating Sylvester Emmanuel, one of the players he looks forward to in the Nigerian tennis circuit, at the ongoing ONG PLAY YOUR GAME Tennis Open in Benin Republic.
Nigerian Tennis Live had reported that the brothers were at war in a match that would all but guarantee a Nigerian a place in the semis of the tournament and Bulus got the better of his more experienced opponent in the final set.

Sylvester, one of Nigeria’s and Africa’s finest players, defeated Bulus 6-3 in the first set, but could not withstand the firepower of the highly consistent Bulus, losing 1-6 in the second set, before retiring in the final set with the game at 1-4 in favour the younger player.
In all, it was an entertaining encounter which provided a really good spectacle for the Benenoise who were treated to world class tennis action right in front of their fans.
With this result, Bulus will be aiming to get one past his opponent in the semi final of the competition before trying out to win the invitational tournament.
Sylvester who showed no signs of fatigue after the game seems to have overcome his worst injury nightmares and will now prove to the world what quality he possesses that makes him one of the most respected tennis players in the country.
Nigerian Tennis Live will keep monitoring the players’ performance at the tournament and publish their progress or otherwise as the competition continues.
