Benin Tourney: Bulus, Sylvester Face Tough Tests For Quarter Final Slots

Nigeria’s duo of Sylvester Emmanuel and Christopher Bulus will face stiff competition from their opponents when hostilities resume at the ongoing ONG PLAY YOUR GAME Tennis Open.

The Nigerian players shone like millions in their first games in the competition as they sent their opponents to the cleaners with impressive wins to boost their chances of advancing to the last 16 of the invitational tournament.

Bulus looks good to move to the next phase of the competition in Benin Republic.

And in a schedule obtained by Nigerian Tennis Live, the players will seek to land among the last eight of the tournament when they meet stiff competitions in the players from other African countries who are also participating in the championship.

To qualify for the quarterfinal, Bulus will have to defeat Togo’s Kadanga Paul while the man fondly referred to as Major will face a stiff competition in his match against Ghana’s Ziab Pascal.

With Sylveter’s impressive run already, one may be tempted to tip him for the last eight of the competition, while Bulus, arguably Nigeria’s best junior player at the moment, will also fancy his chances against any opponent.

Nigerian Tennis Live will keep monitoring the players’ progress in Cotonou and file reports about their matches as the tournament continues.
