Nigerian players currently in Abuja, Nigeria’s Federal Capital, are gearing up for the VEMP and Davnotch National Senior Tennis Open tournaments.

And one of the things on their minds is to remind themselves of their current rankings and how to improve on it at the end of two weeks of competitive action.

As it stands, a number of players on the rankings will not be participating in the events as they are either out of the country or are not participating for whatever reason.

For instance, the likes of David Ekpenyong, Marylove Edwards – both Nigerian top male and female players, Emmanuel Jebutu, Wilson Igbinovia are in the United States; Peter Lawal and Toyin Asogba are both in Europe; Seun Ogunsakin and Ohunene are in Tunisia, among others.

In the past few weeks, query by Nigerian players to know their rankings has filled our website, as they look forward to the tournaments.

For this reason, Nigeria Tennis Live is showing you – the player – how to check your ranking ahead of the competition.

Just log on to www.nigeriatennislive.com and go to the menu tab (on a mobile device) and click on the rankings’ tab to see the Men’s Singles and Women’s Singles rankings.

Nigeria Tennis Live will keep our readers updated on the draws, fixtures and results from the Vemp Open which sets the tone for the national events.
