Africa Beach Games: Team Nigeria Face Hosts Cape Verde After Disappointing Defeat To Morocco
The Nigerian team to the first ever Africa Beach Games in Cape Verde will hope to ease off the disappointment of losing their first match to Morocco when they take on the host nation in their second match of the competition.
Christie Agugbom and Blessing Samuel partnered in the 0-2 loss to the Moroccan pair of Benabdeljalil Camilia and Benabdeljalil Sarah, who won 6-2, 6-3.
The players will be fired up to ensure they don’t leave Cape Verde without a victory when they take on the host nation later today.
Their second match in Group A which will be played at the Arena 2, Santa Maria Beach Park will be against Nascimento Silvia and Fernandes Jocilene.
The Coach Abdulmumin Babalola-led side are expected to bounce back to winning ways with the match which should kick off any moment from now.
