AMAZING! US-based Nigerian Tennis Star Among Varsity’s Best Students

US-based Nigerian tennis player, Jumai Mohammed, has made it to the Dean’s List for Undergraduate Students at the Clark Atlanta University.

The Dean’s List comprises of the undergraduate students with the highest CGPA of 3.25 to 4.0 and the people who make it to this list are always celebrated by the institution.

Jumai, a 300level student Accounting major at the institution, has now made it to the list and will be recognized for this feat which is believed to be a really big deal in the school.

Nigeria Tennis Live had a brief chat with the young lady on what this means to her and she revealed how excited she was when she saw her name on the list.

She also explained how she had been looking forward to having her name on the Dean’s List and how seeing it there was an inexplicable feeling.

“Being a student and playing tennis can be challenging as it requires effective time management to balance academic commitments and rigorous training schedules.

“Juggling assignments, exams, and practice sessions demands discipline and dedication,” Jumai said.

She also noted that: “During my freshman year, I wasn’t on the Dean list and I felt bad because I knew I could do better.

“Ever since then, I locked in so hard because my aim was to get my name on the list of undergraduate students with the highest GPA at Clark Atlanta university.

“I did that by giving it all my best and I am so happy to accomplish that. I eventually found all the challenges rewarding.”

Congratulations to the Nigerian player on this feat! Hopefully, this will inspire some other young tennis players to believe they can also graduate with good grades while playing tennis.
