NTF Assures Nigerian Tennis Players Of Two New National Tournaments In 2020
Engr. Ifedayo Akindoju, the President of the Nigeria Tennis Federation (NTF), has assured Nigerian tennis players that the federation is planning two additional tournaments to the tennis season.
The NTF President who made this confirmation during a brief phone discussion over the weekend, stated that there are plans to consolidate on the present crop of national competitions.
Nigeria Tennis Live can confirm that the players have the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Open, Rainoil Tennis Championship, Vemp Open and the Dala Hard Court tournaments to compete in for about two consecutive years.

There had been talks about the Brains & Hammers national competition, but it did not quite see the light of the day following circumstances our correspondent is not privy to.
However, the NTF President has confirmed that there are talks for two extra tournaments to give the tennis players six national tournaments to participate in for the tennis season.
He said: “Two new tournaments are presently in the pipeline. We are working on them already, but right now, we cannot confirm them yet.
“When we finally get a hold of these new competitions and confirm them, we shall inform the general public.”
