Tswako Foundation Junior Tennis Tournament Excites Kids In Abuja
There is palpable excitement inside the Abuja Country Club, Life Camp, Abuja, where the 7th edition of the Tswako Foundation Junior Tennis Championship is holding.
More than 100 youngsters from different parts of the country are competing for honors in the Boys’ and Girls’ U-12, 14 & 16 categories off the championship.
Nigeria Tennis Live reports that the Boys’ U-12 players are so many that the tournament officials had to create a draw of 64 in the First Round.

Apart from being fed daily, the players from outside Abuja are also given accommodation while they are in Abuja for the event.
Players from Ondo, Nasarawa and Niger alongside players across Abuja are competing fiercely for the ultimate prize as the tournament hots up inside the Abuja Country Club.
The Boys’ U-16 is one of the most competitive categories with top national junior players participating to make the tournament keenly contested.

The likes of Gbolahan who won the SAPETRO Futures and the NNPC/SNEPCo competitions, Chukwudubem Amasiani, Yohana Yakubu, alongside some other promising players are competing for the title at the Tswako Foundation competition.
The four-day competition served off on Wednesday, 11 December and will reach its final on Saturday, 14 December, 2024 inside the Abuja Country Club, where the event holds annually.
