Patrick Mouratoglou Congratulates Nigeria Tennis Live For Promoting Nigerian Tennis
World renowned tennis coach, Patrick Mouratoglou, has congratulated Nigeria Tennis Live over its giant strides in promoting tennis in Nigeria.
The French coach who has worked with a number of top tennis players in the world, who recently took up the coaching of Japanese tennis super star, Naomi Osaka, was responding to a message sent by Nigeria Tennis Live correspondent on social media.
Mouratoglou also coached Serena Williams, the American tennis legend, for about a decade, during which period she won 10 Grand Slam titles, multiple ATP Titles, as well as an Olympic gold medal.

And on Sunday, 29 September, 2024 the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy Founder and entrepreneur with over 1.5million followers on Instagram alone, followed Nigeria Tennis Live, a rather surprising development for the blossoming Nigerian tennis media outlet.
In a response to this act, our correspondent reached out to him via a direct message, to appreciate him for the gesture which was as a result of a video posted on Instagram.
“Hello, Coach.
“Thank you so much for following us, this means a lot to us and everyone who’s involved in Nigerian tennis.
“We’re open to every suggestion and anything you may have for Nigerian tennis. Thank you so much, once again, WE ARE GRATEFUL,” our excited correspondent had written.
In a swift response, Mouratoglou said: “Hi, congratulations for your page promoting Nigerian tennis. I am sure there are a lot of things to do to help you guys”.
Nigeria Tennis Live followers on Instagram who saw the latest and exciting development via NTL’s IG Story have since congratulated the tennis organization.
Former African U-14 number one player, Seun Ogunsakin, was first to respond. He wrote: “Congratulations sir” which was followed by another message from a user with the handle @eboh_bhliz who wrote: “yeahhhh finallyyy the attention u guyss deserveee”.

Another ardent follower, Bello Muhamed Atolagbe, also commented, stating: “Let them know o” while several other followers simply reacted with love and clap emojis to NTL’s IG Story.
Recall that this is not the first interaction Mouratoglou is having with ‘Nigerian Tennis’ as he also met with US-based Marylove Edwards in 2021, when she went to Europe on a training tour.
The youngster at the time, noted that the legendary French tennis coach hailed her aggressiveness on the court, which she said he stated would help her game.
Nigeria Tennis Live will continue to set the pace in promoting tennis in the country and draw more attention to the possibilities that abound with Nigerian tennis talents.
