    BREAKING: Nigeria’s Imeh Teaches Dutch Star Tennis Lesson, Advances To 2nd Round

    Nigeria’s Joseph Imeh has advanced to the second round of the Governor’s Cup Lagos Tennis Championship after defeating Fransen Stephan 0-6, 6-3, 6-0 in the first round of the second leg.

    Imeh who started the match on a poor note rallied to win the second set and rushed the Dutch star in the final set to the admiration of the spectators inside the Lagos Lawn Tennis Club, Onikan, where the match is taking place.

    Jopsehp Imeh made Nigerians proud this morning after defeating Netherland’s Fransen Stephan in the first round of the second leg at the ongoing Governor’s Cup Lagos Tennis Championship in Lagos.

    In other matches decided this morning, Nigeria’s Oyinlomo Quadri lost 4-6, 0-6 to Tan Hamony, the number six seed from France.

    Christopher Bulus, who lost the first set 4-6 against Setodji Thomas, capitulated in the second set in a 4-6 game, while Henry Atseye retired in the second leg after losing the first set 2-6 in the first set against Vucic Ilija.

    Adetayo Adetunji lost her match to Khazaniuk Denz, the number four seed from Israel, as she fell flat in 1-6, 1-6 game which lasted just 40 minutes inside the court 4 of the LLTC.
