Forget the sales of tickets to tennis lovers to watch the finals grand finale of the Governor’s Cup Lagos Tennis Championship, the centre court of the Lagos Lawn Tennis Club is presently packed full with spectators.
Nigerian Tennis Live correspondent on ground reports that the spectators, mostly students, would not allow any exciting moment pass them by without cheering the better player per time.
Spectators had been asked to buy tickets for a minimum of N1,500 for regulars and N5,000 for VIPs and in spite of this development, the atmosphere still looked electrifying.
The enthusiasm on the people’s faces, the loud cheers, the passion for the game coupled with the world class tennis action on display inside the Lord Rumens Court of the LLTC, totally captures the action ongoing in Onikan.
One of the VIPs at the tennis court as at press time is former President of the Nigeria Tennis Federation, Engr. Sani Ndanusa, who hailed Nigerian Tennis Live for a regular reportage of tennis in the country.
“I always follow your blog and all your posts, weldone, my brother,” Ndanusa, a former National Olympic Commission president noted.
