It is no longer news that the Strength Space Tennis Championship, SSTC will hold in Nigeria’s Federal Capital in October, 2025.
The tournament, a-first-of-its-kind, was announced over the weekend, and Nigerians have been asking questions about what the tournament is all about, seeing that it would be preceding the annual Dala Hard Court Tennis Championship in Kano.
The SSTC being organized by Nigeria Tennis Live in collaboration with the Nigeria Tennis Federation is sponsored by Strength Space, an organization that helps athletes reach great heights with their fitness on and off the court.

Nigeria Tennis Live will now share a few information tennis players should note about the competition with our esteemed followers.
The competition is an invitational event from 20-25 October, 2025, for only male players in the northern region, as the tournament sponsors are trying to test the waters with tournament sponsorship in Nigeria.

Therefore, eight male participants, which is a mix of junior and senior players, have been invited to participate in the inaugural edition of the competition.
The prize money for the tournament is N400,000 (four hundred thousand naira only) for the winner, N250,000 (two hundred and fifty thousand naira) for the runner up and N150,000 (one hundred and fifty thousand naira only) for the semifinalists.
Every player participating in the competition will be given an appearance fee of N50,000 which is expected to cater to their logistics for the tournament.
