Daniel Adeleye, Nigeria’s number one male tennis player, has showered Joseph Austin with a cash gift after the latter’s struggle with his racket.
About a week ago, Nigeria Tennis Live shared a video about Joseph Austin, a 15-year-old tennis player who snapped his racket while playing but had none to replace it.
In the video, the Benue State indigene who resides in Oyo State, revealed that he lost his mum about four years ago and now live with his brothers in Ibadan.

The young tennis player also noted that his dad, who works as a farmer in Benin City, comes to visit them whenever he takes a break from farming, adding that he would be grateful to get a new pair of shoes, rackets and kits, alongside good coaching, to continue with his tennis career.
The video went viral and within 24hours, Austin had gotten gifts of two new rackets, two new pairs of shoes, tennis kits, a roll of strings and two pairs of socks, courtesy of a benevolent giver who watched the video and the Adewale Isa Foundation.

Despite all of these, however, Adeleye, Nigeria’s Davis Cup player, contacted the teenage tennis player via Nigeria Tennis Live and had a few words of encouragement for the youngster before asking for his account details.
“I just wanted to encourage the boy in my own little way,” Adeleye said during the call with our correspondent to speak with the player.
