“We are looking forward to more progress for the kids who are playing our competition because this is the legacy that our father, Alhaji Adewale Isa, left for us his children, and we are proud to continue with that,” she said.
Apart from the kids, coaches from different parts of Nigeria are also in Lagos for the competition, as they keep honoring the legacy of Alhaji Adewale Isa who was more than a coach to them.

“Bros, I had to come from Abuja for this tournament, and it was not like I was asked to, it’s because of what Alhaji Isa did for all of us. He was our coach and father, regardless of what part of the country we’re from.
“Many of us that you see here are here to honour the memory of our late coach, and father, because he was one in a million,” one of the coaches told Nigeria Tennis Live.
The competition served off with the U-16 category for the boys and girls on Monday and will continue on Tuesday, 26 August, 2025.
The tournament will end on Saturday, 30 August, 2025, with an elaborate celebration and Nigeria Tennis Live will give our readers every update from the championship ahead of the finale.
