Oyinlomo Quadre is on course to win her fourth gold medal for Team Delta at the ongoing National Sports Festival in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The Oklahoma University new entrant has been unplayable at the ongoing event, with spectacular wins during the tournament, winning three gold medals already.
Quadre defeated Ohunene Yakubu from Ogun State, to take the Women’s Singles gold medal, she partnered with Ronke Akingbade to defeat Edo State’s Lorelay Holzendorff and Blessing Omotayo 6-2, 6-2 in the Women’s Doubles final.

To win her third gold medal of the 2025 National Sports Festival, the former Nigerian number one female tennis player, alongside Ikechukwu Iloputa, defeated the Ogun State pair of Christopher Bulus and Ohunene Yakubu in the mixed Doubles event 6-1, 6-4.

In her quest to win her fourth medal of the 22nd Sports Festival, Quadre has reached the finals of the team event after winning alongside Ronke Akingbade against the Ekiti State pair of Success Ogunjobi and Jesutoyosi Adeusi. The match ended 6-2, 6-3.

She awaits the winner of the Doubles match between Team Ogun and Edo States in the final match to decide the winner of the second team event.
Nigerians will be looking forward to the matches on Wednesday morning as well as the medals presentation on the final day of the tournament.
