The men’s and women’s finals of the much-anticipated Lagos Tennis Cup Finals will be streamed to a global audience, Nigeria Tennis Live has gathered.

The Tennis Management Company Limited (TMCL), organizers of the Lagos Tennis Cup, have partnered with IBST Media to live stream the finals of the 2025 edition to a global audience. This much was confirmed via a post on the company’s X handle.

The tournament will feature the top 8 ranked male and female players in Nigeria and will take place from 21-27 April, 2025 at the Lagos Lawn Tennis Club, Onikan.

To ensure that the tournament is accessible to as many Nigerians as possible, TMCL has also arranged for daily coverage on DSTV via Plus TV Africa on channel 408.

Nigeria Tennis Live reports that Plus TV Africa will provide viewers with news, interviews, fun fan activities, and behind-the-scenes footage of the players.

The tournament will be played in a round robin format in two groups for the group stage, with the top two players from each group advancing to the semi-finals. The winners of the semifinal matches will qualify for the finals.

The men’s and women’s champions will receive N1,100,000 each, while the runners-up will get N600,000 each for their efforts.

The semi-finalists will be rewarded with N300,000, while players who exit the competition from the group stage will be paid N150,000 each. Additionally, all players will receive additional cash support for logistics.
