    Why We Came From America To Play Adewale Isa Tennis Tourney – Sheila O

    Kobi Ashinze, a nine-year-old tennis prodigy has arrived Nigeria to participate in the forthcoming Adewale Isa Foundation Junior Tennis Tournament.

    Nigeria Tennis Live gathered that the youngster plays tournaments regularly in the United States and will be participating at the fifth edition of the AIF championship being held in Lagos State.

    Her mum, Sheila, who spoke with our correspondent, revealed that the player fondly called Koko Ash was planning to visit Nigeria and decided to participate in the national tournament despite her age.

    “Kobi is a hardworking tennis player who regularly does tournaments in the United States, she happens to be going to Nigeria and couldn’t miss the opportunity to play a tournament for her own country.

    “The tournament was recommended to her since she was already visiting her home town meaning that we added the trip to other activities although it was motivation for Kobi,” Sheila told Nigeria Tennis Live.

    There are chances that Kobi will be the youngest player at the Adewale Isa Foundation championship which serves off on Tuesday, 13 August, 2024.
