Abubakar Yusuf, one of the players who made it to the Main Draw of the ongoing Dala Hard Court Tennis Championships, has made a bold prediction.
The tough-playing Adosis Tennis Academy sensation who recently won the 2023 UTR Tennis Tournament in Lagos, noted that he would be really glad to play in the finals of the competition.
In a chat with Journalists in Lagos, the man fondly called Abu noted that it would be his dream to make it to the final of the tournament.
“I used the UTR tournament as a way of preparing for the Dala Hard Court tournament in Kano because I really want to play well in the competition,” he noted after the junior event in Lagos recently.
When asked how far he believed he’d go in the tournament, he noted that he would really love to play in the final of the competition and possibly play against Daniel Adeleye.

According to him: “I will like to play to the final, and play against Daniel Adeleye in the final because he has been playing really well and he’s a really good player”.
The Men’s Singles matches serve off officially today and these two players will be up against different opponents.
And with the way the draw is, if they both keep winning, they might eventually meet at the tail end of the competition, thereby making Abubakar’s dream a reality.
