After getting a bye in the first round as the tournament’s number six seed, Nigeria’s Marylove Edwards will be in second round action against India’s Himadri Kashyap for a quarterfinal berth at an ongoing Junior ITF Circuit in Kigali, Rwanda.
Nigeria Tennis Live had reported that the US-based youngster will get back into contention at the Grade 5 Junior ITF Circuit this week.
The draws have now shown that the former Nigerian number four player will be in action against the Indian player for a place in the quarterfinal of the tournament.
Our correspondent also gathered that she will be playing the doubles of the competition and she already got a bye to play in the quarterfinals of the team event as she partners another youngster from Mali.
She plays both matches today and will be expected to progress to the next stage of the competition in both events.
