For the second consecutive game, team Nigeria recorded an impressive win at ongoing Africa Beach Games to bag silver medals.

The Nigerian girls won 6-2, 6-3 to consolidate on their second win where they slugged it out against hosts Cape Verde.

The match which ended in two straight set wins for the Nigerian side is their second ever win at the competition, and it came against Algeria, another North African country having lost their first game to Morocco.

While dedicating the victory to God, the team’s coach, Abdulmumin Babalola believes that the ladies got better with each game.

Nigeria Tennis Live can report that the victorious ladies are expected to return to the country any moment from now as they prepare for the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Senior Tennis Open.
