Nigeria Tennis Live can authoritatively report that young tennis sensation, Oyinlomo Quadre, has won the Grade 3 ITF Junior Circuit in Tunisia.

She managed this incredible feat after crushing Maria Bondarenko, the tournament’s number six seed, in three hot sets of 6-7, 6-4, 6-2.

This is her first ever win in a Grade 3 ITF Circuit, having previously won the Grade 4&5 and lost out in the early stages of the tough competition.

And this comes barely two weeks after leading Nigeria to a podium place finish at the Under-16 AJC competition (a tournament where she was Nigeria’s only representative) in Tunisia.

As at the time of filing this report, our correspondent could not reach her for her comment on the new development, but she is believed to be overwhelmed by the incredible result.

Nigeria Tennis Live hereby congratulate the youngster for putting Nigeria on the world map in a very positive light.
