The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Senior Tennis Open Championship is presently setting Abuja, the Nigerian federal capital, on fire, with some world class tennis actions, Nigerian Tennis Live can report.
After two rounds of matches and some unprecedented upsets at the 40th edition of the annual tennis championship, the tennis section of the National Stadium, Abuja, is beginning to witness some top class tennis matches with the fixtures of the day.

This morning alone, Sylvester Emmanuel is playing against Henry Atseye, Joseph Imeh takes on Shehu Lawal, Thomas Otu and Clifford Enosoregbe trade tackles while Abdulmumin Babalola plays host to Michael Michael, one of the budding youngsters of Nigerian tennis.
In the female category, Sarah Adegoke continues to seek her title defence when she takes on Odeyemi Ramota, Rose Abu who upset a top player will continue her streak against Abaa Chidinma, while the match between Aanu Ayegbusi and Osariemen Airhunwunde will make for an interesting watch.
Christie Agugbom will trade tackles against Stella Udokwelu just as Blessing Anuna and Patience Onebamhoin face off in some of the early matches of the day.
Action has commenced at the courts already, according to Nigerian Tennis Live feelers from Abuja, and it promises to be a tough but interesting morning for tennis lovers and followers in the nation’s federal capital.
The CBN Open promises a prize money of N700k to each of the Men and Women’s Singles winners while the runners up go home with N500k cash each.
The tournament which kicked off on Monday, 25 June, will climax on Saturday, 30 June, inside the tennis section of the National Stadium in Abuja.
