    IT’S OFFICIAL: NTF Confirms Date For Rainoil Tennis Open Tournament

    Nigerian Tennis Live can authoritatively confirm that the Nigeria Tennis Federation (NTF) has confirmed the date for the inaugural Rainoil Tennis Open Tournament.

    According to a letter signed by Mrs. Mariam Akande, the secretary of the tennis federation, the tournament is billed to start on Friday, 8 December and end on Sunday, 17 December.

    Sylvester Emmanuel, Nigeria’s number one tennis player, is currently under the sponsorship of Rainoil.

    The players are expected to arrive the venue of the tournament on 8 December and go through the preliminary rounds from 9-10 December.

    The Main Draws will kick off on Monday, 11 December, while the final of the tournament will take place on Sunday, 17 December, inside the Lagos Country Club, Ikeja.

    Tennis players and coaches will be buzzing with excitement as the tournament serves off for the very first time, allowing many younger players try out their might against the more experienced professionals.

    The Rainoil Tennis Open Tournament will attract a minimum of 15 officials and one tournament referee, making it 16 and shall (all things being equal) become an annual championship for the Nigerian tennis players.
