Barely after spending three weeks at the IMG Tennis Academy in Bradenton, Florida the United States, young Nigerian tennis prodigy, Marylove Edwards, is beginning to get massive review.

The Nigerian U-14 champion who is at the tennis academy on the bills of Temple Management Company, had won everything that was there to be won in her age grade and beyond, and was even a member of Team CBN Futures at the ongoing NCC Tennis League.

Jairo Aldana, the Student-Athlete Advisor at the Bollettieri Tennis Academy all smiles as he takes a picture with Nigerian youngster, Marylove Edwards.

She landed on American soil to continue her tennis development and education on 4 September, 2017 and Naija Tennis Special exclusively gathered that the player is already getting positive reviews.

When our correspondent asked her management company for feedback from the Academy on what they think about the Nigerian star player, Koye Sowemimo, the Head of Sports at TMC made reference to the comment by Jairo Aldana, the Student-Athlete Advisor at the Academy.

“I remember Marylove from when she was with us for a one week camp in April.

“For her age she is fine athlete that will only get better. She had such a positive attitude in training, very disciplined and always willing to learn.

“We are delighted that she is here full time and look forward to her being a top tennis player in years to come,” Aldana was quoted to have said.
